Located in Crane Park, St. Helena Skate Park was opened in October 2009. The 18,000 square foot park was designed and constructed by Grindline Skateparks, Inc. In 2019, the skate park underwent a makeover – surfaces were cleaned and repaired, and 4 new elements were added. Additional work in 2020 will include new fencing, restored landscaping, new LED lighting, and a water bottle filling station.
The park is open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. till dusk and closed on rainy days.
Any person riding a skateboard or similar device at a recreational skateboard facility owned by the City of St. Helena shall wear a helmet, elbow pads, and kneepads. More information can be found here.
