Pennyweight is housed in a building that dates to 1892, a fine example of Victorian architecture and one of the most photographed in St. Helena. The striking interior reflects and respects the history of the building by sourcing antique mahogany curved glass showcases and six large crystal chandeliers suspended from the pressed tin ceiling. The visual effect along with the scents of leather, beeswax, and botanicals create and warm and welcoming environment.
The shelves and vitrines are filled with a rotating selection of European leather goods, artisanal paper, glass, apothecary, writing instruments, sculpture, and jewelry. The selection of candles and interesting accessories make gift-giving a home run.
