Gathering and working with our hands, to pull needle and thread to bind fabric, is a long-held tradition of sewing circles and quilting bees.

The class will combine the mindful meditative practice of hand sewing with exploration of stitching for stitching’s sake through simple embroidery, hand stitching, and fabric collage.

Each week, class participants will be introduced to the work of a new artist exploring the personal vocabulary of textile arts.

Class participants will have the opportunity to try new stitching techniques or work on a personal project. Join us to enjoy the joy of stitching in community.
