Visit the studio and gallery of local artist Gina Teichert to see the creative process in action. With live painting demos, artist talks, holiday maker trunk shows, and a series of interactive art events, this short term gallery space is bringing eclectic flavor to St. Helena through January 15.
Helmed by artist Gina Teichert, who was raised on a working cattle ranch and later worked at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, gallery programming brings together contemporary art and western style. With her cowboy flavored exhibition Wine/Country featuring sculptor Maeve Eichelberger and painter Dennis Ziemienski (opening Nov 15), Teichert hopes to bring a little country to wine country.
Special events include an immersive soundbath, a community sketch night, a screening of Teichert’s forthcoming documentary Shadow Riders, and a book signing with Wine/Country artist Dennis Ziemienski.
