Christine Hale
DETAILS

Christine comes to Engel & Völkers with a rich texture of experience, having thrived in various environments, east and west coasts as well as in Europe. Christine and her family moved from Annapolis, Maryland and settled in Saint Helena in 2001. After spending two years in southern France in a town that was steeped in both a sophisticated agricultural and small town ambiance, they sought a similar place that possessed the natural beauty and sense of community they enjoyed. Their children attended Saint Helena public schools and are now well-launched as ambassadors of their experience in Saint Helena.

She and her husband, Daniel Hale, have long operated a business in the art/design world, including retail and consulting on art/design projects as well as development projects for both themselves and for varied clients. These projects include those from the ground up as well as remaigning existing spaces, providing an understanding of what it takes in terms of time, money and energy to achieve a successful outcome. In addition, Christine worked for seven years in the wine industry, learning what it takes to build a successful brand and work with a team to achieve that goal.

Purchasing a home is an immensely personal decision and her approach is informed, intuitive and sensitive to each situation’s unique dynamics. In her spare time Christine likes to get outside, either cycling or hiking the surrounding hills in Napa Valley. She also enjoys cooking and Friday night bocce and offering her time with various non-profit organizations, including Nimbus Arts, V Foundation, and Auction Napa Valley.
