Join Under-Study for its first-ever pop-up dinner celebrating Lunar New Year.

Inspired by the family meals that our Culinary Events Manager Haley Wong began cooking for the team at PRESS, this celebration brings Haley’s heritage to the table.

Each dish is an expression of the food she grew up with, shaped by her Bay Area upbringing, her mother’s Shanghai roots, her father’s Hong Kong influence, and her own culinary training and point of view.

Served in three generous waves (with rice anchoring each, because there’s never enough), the menu unfolds from comforting soups and steamed fish to bold, aromatic dishes, crispy fried chicken, and roast duck, all designed for sharing.

While not a traditional Lunar New Year menu, the dinner is intentionally familiar and welcoming—food meant to tell stories, spark memories, and invite both the team and the Napa Valley community into a celebration of culture, family, and generosity, honoring the past while making space at the table for something new.
