What could be better than meandering along vineyards, parks, and gardens while wandering the pastoral fields of Napa Valley to paint and sketch!
“Plein Air,” translated from the French term meaning “in the open air”… was coined in the late 1800s when the Impressionists ventured out of their studios into nature to investigate and capture the effects of sunlight and lighting on the surrounding fields and farms.
In this outdoorsy camp, we will travel afield by foot to let nature guide us through the same journeys that inspired the likes of Monet, Pissarro and Renoir!
