The Dinner Party at Under-Study is a new communal dining series built around exceptional food, shared stories, and memorable gatherings.

Each event draws inspiration from a different culinary tradition, destination, season, or celebration, brought to life through a family-style menu and the people behind it.

Upcoming dinners will take inspiration from everything from après-ski comforts and Hawaiian flavors to Lunar New Year traditions and beyond.

To kick off the series, our sous chef teams from Under-Study and PRESS are throwing a Friendsgiving, and you’re invited!

Inspired by the spirit of a holiday potluck, each member of our culinary team will contribute a dish that reflects their heritage, family traditions, or favorite holiday memories.

From black truffle glazed turkey and Icelandic black cod to pork and shrimp wontons, macaroni and cheese, and Filipino-inspired desserts, this family-style feast celebrates the diverse backgrounds and stories that shape our kitchens.

As dishes are passed and shared, our chefs will introduce their contributions and the traditions behind them, creating an evening that feels part holiday gathering, part storytelling dinner, and entirely unique to the people preparing the meal.
