Celebrate the Rainbow Colors of Mid-Century Disney icon Mary Blair.
DJ Rotten Robbie will be spinning an all-vinyl, all-disco set, and guests will help pick the records.
Guests disinclined toward dancing can walk the red carpet to a VIP photo nook and enjoy a smorgasbord of 1970’s and 80’s-themed treats.
It’s after hours. It’s late night (for Napa Valley, anyway). It’s a little dry, full of flavor, and fated to be fabulous!
Charbay Distillery will be pouring its classic clear vodka for dry martinis, while the sobriety-curious will have plenty to enjoy with adaptogen and herb flavored mocktails from Curious Elixirs, the drink voted “best nonalcoholic drink” by The New York Times five years in a row.
Guests can knock back a “shooter” containing a delicious oyster from Osprey Seafood, swimming in a bubbling sea of Bloody Mary mix, and sample some of the delicacies that made the 1970s and 80’s so memorable — a culinary era notable for its Crock Pots, mini gherkins, pigs in blankets and fondue.
Guests are encouraged to fully embrace the era, by making their own playlist of favorite Disco tunes, putting on their best Boogie Shoes, and donning their Disco Duds – outfits inspired by the era — from velour bell-bottoms, unbuttoned Quiana shirts, shimmery sequin jumpsuits, glittery eye shadow and mood rings, or “Bee Gees” white polyester suits.
Chest hair and gold chains are optional. Whether your style is John Travolta or Ziggy Stardust, Donna Summer or Cher, and whether you rock a mullet, “glitter fro” or shag, you are sure to catch a sizzling case of Saturday Night Fever.
