Bring the whole family for a special performance during Brannan Center’s Grand Opening weekend!

Los Cenzontles (Los-senn-SONT-less, Nahuatl for “The Mockingbirds”), based in San Pablo, CA, explore various regional folk traditions from Mexico.

They have performed across the U.S., in Europe, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, and throughout Mexico.

They have produced over 30 albums of traditional Mexican and cross-cultural music with artists that include Linda Ronstadt, David Hidalgo, Jackson Browne, The Chieftains, Taj Mahal, and Ry Cooder, among others, and 20 celebrated documentaries that have enjoyed broadcasts on PBS and HBO.

The band’s core members also serve as the programming staff and teachers of Los Cenzontles Cultural Arts Academy, where they have been passing on musical traditions to new generations since 1989.

Tickets for this performance are General Admission.
