Dive into the winding world of surrealism by studying a different surrealist master painter each week.

Students will have an opportunity to wrap their minds around this genre of art, analyze surrealist artists’ work, and explore recurring symbols and themes to create small sample paintings inspired by their style.

Students will then be ready to begin crafting original surrealist works using elements and imagery that speak to their own subconscious and imagination.
