OF THE ST. HELENA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
Statement of Purpose
The network is designed for those who live or work in the Napa Valley. The NVYPN
will focus on professional and personal development, networking and community
involvement. We seek to promote a sustainable community with active young professionals
who have a long term vested interest in the Napa Valley.
NVYP Goals
• To broaden the professional skills & knowledge of Napa Valley young
professionals.
• To better connect young professionals in the business community/Chamber.
• To attract & retain young professionals to the Napa Valley.
• To enhance the unique quality of life in the Napa Valley.
Membership Guidelines
• $40 per person annually
• $30 per person annually for current SHCC Members
• 21-39ish years of age
• Employed
• Live and/or work in the Napa Valley

Events/Meetings
• Brown bag lunch lectures - Bring your lunch to the
Napa Valley College/Upper Valley Campus and listen to selected lecturers speak
about items important to NVYP's. Held approximately once a month.
• Behind the scene business tours - Tour different business
throughout the Valley that has an impact on our business and/or personal lives.
Held every other month.
• Morning coffee networking – Network with other
NVYP’s over coffee at various locations. Held approximately once a
month.
• Joint mixers with the St. Helena Chamber of Commerce
– The NVYP’s will join up with the members of the SHCC for combined
networking opportunities. Held every other month.
• Musical Picnics in Lyman Park After parties –
June 25th-August 20th every other Thursday. Check out the Chamber's calendar
for more details.
• Earth Day – NVYP’s to join together with
the community, professional organizations and service clubs to clean up St.
Helena.
• St. Helena Chamber Bocce Tournament – NVYP's
to have a team at tournament as well as run the Bloody Mary Bar to raise funds
for scholarships for an NVYP to attend Leadership Napa Valley as well as other
scholarships.
• Thanksgiving decoration crew – NVYP's to join
together with the community, professional organizations and service clubs to
decorate the town for all to enjoy.
