Event Description:
TASTE OF CIA COOKBOOKS When it comes to cooking, we wrote the book—and then some! Our wide variety of cookbooks cover just about every culinary niche, from brunch and breads to butchery and braising. In these 5-hour hands-on classes, you'll chop and cook and bake from our pages and then take the book home to do it all again in your own kitchen. Maximum enrollment: 14 people per class Pricing: $250.00 per person CIA Favorites Sample some of the CIA’s all-time favorite recipes in this class featuring dishes straight from the pages of The Culinary Institute of America Cookbook. From savory starters and hearty entrees to decadent desserts, we’ll cover it all. Through chef demonstrations and kitchen production, you’ll learn a variety of cooking skills and helpful tips for culinary success. We’ll discuss basic cooking methods, ingredient selection, and plating techniques. Prepare to take a deeper look into the fundamentals of cooking and to taste our favorite creations. Participants of this class will receive a CIA logo apron and a copy of The Culinary Institute of America Cookbook to take home.

The CIA is approximately 1/4 mile north of the town of St. Helena on the left, 1 1/2 – 2 hours north of San Francisco in the heart of the Napa Valley.
