Event Description:
CIA Samplings 2 hour hands-on cooking classes every other Saturday. Each class to consist of 30 minutes of lecture/demo and hands-on cooking with a 10 minute tasting and glass of wine at the end Highlights a specific region of the world per month. 12 participants per class 6 appetizer recipes per class Pricing: $95.00 per person December: RUSTIC ITALIAN FLAVORS Join us to explore classic Italian fare from one end of the “boot” to the other. In this class, you’ll create small plates inspired by the Italian peninsula’s long stretch of Mediterranean coastline, mountain forests, and country gardens. Using the distinctly different cooking techniques found in the various regions of Italy, you’ll prepare such delicacies as calamari, gnocchi, peperonata, and biscotti bites.

Directions:
The CIA is approximately 1/4 mile north of the town of St. Helena on the left, 1 1/2 – 2 hours north of San Francisco in the heart of the Napa Valley.
