Committees

Members of the St. Helena Chamber of Commerce are encouraged to participate on any of the following committees.

Community Enhancement Committee
Purpose: To oversee the Chamber's events and activities benefiting the community at large.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/month
Meeting Time and Place: 8:30am on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Inn at Southbridge
Staff Liaison: Pam Simpson, CEO

Economic Development Committee
Purpose: To oversee activities aimed at benefiting St. Helena's economy
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/month
Meeting Time and Place: 4:00pm on the 1st Thursday of each month at 899 Adams Street, St. Helena
Staff Liaison: Pam Simpson, CEO

Government Relations Committee
Purpose: To oversee activities relating to the Chamber's government relationships and public issues. The Committee oversees and assists with the following events and activities: Vision/ informational forums, Breakfast with the Electeds series, county meetings, and election forums.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/month
Meeting Time and Place: 8:30 am on the 1st Thursday of every month at NVC/UVC
Staff Liaison: Pam Simpson, CEO

Membership Committee
Purpose: responsible for all issues and items relating to the activities aimed at benefiting the Chamber membership. The Committee oversees and assists with the following events and activities: Premium Partnership Program, Membership recruitment & retention: Member Orientation and the Ambassadors.
Time Commitment: 1-2 hours/month
Meeting Time and Place: 4:30pm on the 4th Wednesday of each month at Tra Vigne,
Staff Liaison: Amy Seese, Membership Director

Ambassadors
Purpose: Ambassadors are the Chamber's PR arm. Chamber Ambassadors meet monthly and are expected to make new members feel welcome at mixers, as well as represent the Chamber at ribbon cuttings & other events as needed.
Time Commitment: 4-5 hours/month
Meeting Time and Place: 4:30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the Chamber offices
