Seena Shanker, a native of India, is the founder of Neeliyam: Cultural Expeditions to and from India. Seena designs tours that provide her clients personalized and unique travel experiences. They get to visit cultural sites and temples, participate in ceremonies, visit her friends and families in their homes, experience other local activities and explore traditional Indian cuisines and In other words, they get to see India through the eyes of Indians. She set up Neeliyam to promote personal friendships and business relationships between the peoples of America and India. Locally, Seena and her chef partner, Katherine Grimes, introduce their guests to India and its cuisines by giving cooking classes and providing spice blends based on family recipes.
