The mission of Save Rural Angwin is to preserve agricultural land, maintain the rural nature of the existing community, promote housing for people who work on Howell Mountain, insure a reasonable and safe flow of traffic while supporting Pacific Union College in its educational mission. Residents up and down the Valley support this mission because they understand the need to protect agricultural land and taxpayer funded roads from a development that would lead to the creation of a city the size of St. Helena.
