Haute Living French Blue To Open in St. Helena
Local restauranteur and vintner Leslie Rudd as teamed up with one of Napa Valley's most renowned architects, Howard Backen, and former Teatro ZinZanni partner Stanely Morris to open French Blue. The old Vanderbilt's Home Furnishings building on Main Street has transformed its 6000 square feet into an all-day neighborhood restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Designed with a communal table in the center, two fireplaces, indoor and outdoor seating French Blue will also include a retail operation, selling artisan-made specialty foods.
The cuisine will be seasonally inspired and sourced from Rudd Farm and Orchards on nearby Mt. Veeder. With an a large open kitchen, wood-burning oven and grill, the freshest local produce and the talent of Executive Chef Phillip Wang, previously with Carneros Inn, French Blue is sure to delight and inspire St Helena's local and visitors.
Opening May 29, 2012, French Blue is located on the North end of town on Main Street.
