Event Description: Cuban classical pianist Elena Casanova will perform a piano concert at Paulin Hall on the Pacific Union College campus on Sunday, November 8, at 3 p.m. Casanova, an alumna of PUC as well as the University of Redlands and the San Francisco Conservatory, will perform Latin music by Lecuona, Gottschalk, Cervantes, Guerra, Piazzola and signature piece, Ginastera's "Danzas Argentinas." Dr. Lynn Wheeler, PUC faculty, joins Elena in Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" for two pianos. $10 at the door. Pacific Union College is located at One Angwin Avenue in Angwin.
