Flavor! Napa Valley is a four-day extravaganza of farm-to-table fine cuisine, world-class wines, and the fun that is had when these elements come together in America's premier wine region. The inaugural celebration, being held November 17-20, 2011, offers a wide variety of incredible gastronomic events situated at the Silverado Resort and Spa in Napa, and The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) at Greystone in St. Helena. Net proceeds from the inaugural festival will benefit the scholarship fund at the CIA and will be awarded to deserving students interested in pursuing their dream of a degree in culinary arts, baking and pastry or a certificate in professional wine studies.
The Welcome Dinner starts things off on Thursday, November 17th with an indulgent menu.
Friday sees wine tastings with Fred Dame and Karen MacNeil, a culinary demonstration with Christopher Kostow on the art of texture in food, another demonstration by Ken Frank, plus a host of savory wine tastings around the area.
